Video Game Vertical Slice

(2019)

My first project at The Pack. We had a few months to create a vertical slice and sell the concept for a long-form game.
I was lucky enough to work on modeling the game’s protagonist, which was a really fun job!

My tasks on this projects include :

  • Modeling of main character, along with texturing him and most of the characters, props and decors. I was also tasked with doing some iterations of the robots in various stages of decay

  • White-boxing and set-dressing while following the game designer’s plans

  • Doing custom shader work in Unity’s Shadergraph to create some animated materials

For this project, I worked in Maya and Substance Painter for asset creation, and then in Unity for all the rest.
